SLOVO. Residency

The Slovo. Residency has become a protest against russian attempts to eliminate Ukrainian culture. It has become a tool of dialogue between Ukraine and the United States and a way to increase the Ukrainian voice. And the more support we receive, the stronger our project grows.  
The resalt of this residency was creating a performance "Mothermotherland". We performed more then 28 times in Pittsburgh, Chicago, New Brunswick, Baltimore, Frenchtown, Washington at the Kennedy Center, Philadelphia, New York on APAP conference.
This project also includes open discussions, lectures in several U.S. Universities, and interviews. For the duration of our five month stay in the US, we are meeting and talking to American artists, local politicians and the Ukrainian diaspora.
